Farewell to Phillips
Jackson County Sheriff Tom Phillips was honored Nov. 13 at a retirement reception at Stonehaus Farms Vineyard and Winery in Lee’s Summit. Phillips is leaving the county after a 30-year career and will join the Blue Springs School District. Mike Sharp was elected in November as the new sheriff.
