Independence, MO —

The plea hearing for three men accused of vandalizing the Bass Pro Shops construction site in 2006 has been delayed until 10 a.m. Oct. 10 in front of Circuit Judge Jeffrey L. Bushur.

Joshua Bacus, Jason Culbertson, and Christopher Walters are charged with five counts of first degree tampering and one count each of first degree property damage.

Prosecutors allege the men in September 2006 damaged equipment and construction trailers of contractors building the Bass Pro Shops at 18001 Bass Pro Drive in Independence.

Damage was estimated at more than $1 million and damage just for local contractors were near $350,000.

Bushur’s Division 33 courtroom is at the Jackson County Courthouse Annex in Independence.
