Centerpoint offered the best in service

To the editor:
Recently my wife had surgery at Centerpoint Medical Center. We normally utilize St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, but the doctor performing part of the surgery utilized Centerpoint.

We had heard all the horror stories, or should I say rumors, about how the patient care was not the greatest at Centerpoint, so we were a little hesitant going in. Let me tell you that we have never been treated better!

The staff was wonderful. From the time we checked in early Tuesday morning to the time we finally left on Friday, we were treated better then we could have ever imagined. My wife was treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and a level of care and empathy that I have not witnessed in a long time.

I wish I would have written down the names of every person we were in contact with. I would love to name them personally but, to all the staff at Centerpoint, thank you for a wonderful experience and the outstanding care you provided my wife. You are truly the leaders in patient care!
