To the editor:
I would like to see some recognition for Sgt. Fowler, who puts the Citizens Police Academy program all together, as it takes a lot work for this program to be successful and also a learning process for the public. I would like to thank all the Police Departments that have participated in making the classes very interesting.
It would be nice if more citizens would take part in this program and learn more about how the Police Department works. I also rode along with one of the policemen one evening, and it was really enlightening. I want to say a great big thanks to the Police Depatment for this program and my thanks to Sgt. Fowler for all his hard work in making this a success.
