Dougherty has been positive force in EJC

I would like to thank Rep. Curt Dougherty for his assistance when asked by a group of parents from Fort Osage School to address the teen drinking problem. Rep. Dougherty held meetings with members of the Drug Task Force, the Jackson County Sheriff Patrol and concerned parents to face this issue. He made two commercials at Fort Osage High School to bring attention to under age drinking and it’s consequences.

Rep. Dougherty, at his own time and expense, held a poster contest and the winner won $100. He, along with the Jackson County Sheriff Patrol office, composed a flier about underage drinking that was sent to most Eastern Jackson County residents.

Rep. Dougherty has proven to be an honest and dependable resident and representative. He shows that a man’s word and handshake still mean something. It’s easier to look for negative, than appreciate the positive.
