To the editor:
Sam Graves has voted with the Bush-Cheney administration 95 percent of the time. On Feb. 27, he voted against HR 5351, the energy bill that extends renewable energy tax credits and increases taxes on oil companies. He also voted against the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2007; funding to combat AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis; mental health coverage and an equal pay bill. Do we really want a representative who supports big oil, the war, and votes against types of bills mentioned above?
