Special to The Examiner
Independence, MO —
I was out around Independence the other day, and I saw something that really bothered me. However, I do know there is nothing I can do about it right now.
There is not a law out that you can’t use your cell phone while driving. However, I did think that the person should pull over and stop the car while talking on the phone.
This person I saw was smoking a cigarette that she held in her left hand, which was on the steering wheel of the car. The other hand had a cell phone held up to her ear. I really feel that this person should have pulled over and stopped her car.
I think we should have a law passed, that this should be done while talking on the phone.
