To the editor:
I have been interested in politics for the better part of six years now. When I first got involved, I was a member of a local Young Republicans group. That group has since disbanded, but my passion for the political arena has stayed with me.
A lot has changed since then. I see our country headed in a downward spiral. I have very little faith that anyone in the current two-party system can save this nation. Just recently, I made a conscious decision and threw my support to the Constitution Party. This is a party determined to bring this country back to its roots laid out by our founding fathers. More importantly, this is a party that chooses to use the Constitution as their means for running this country.
Unfortunately, the Constitution doesn’t mean much anymore in our current system. The brave men who fought and died so we could be a nation of freedom would be ashamed if they were with us today. Let’s make them proud instead.
