Pelosi has her own self interests at heart

To the editor:
How sincere and thoughtful of Madam Pelosi. She doesn’t think any of the recent considerations of energy legislation has worth, so she actually closes the doors and shuts off the lights of Congress, then announces a month paid vacation for all.
Because she has the American public’s greater concern at heart, she will not allow an up, nor a down vote on the proposed legislation, unless of course, it would be written, driven and given by her cohorts. And her reason, she alone knows what is best for every American, although she didn’t ask my opinion. Did she ask yours?
I can only say this to Ms. Pelosi, if this is such an important situation that needs to be held back from any voting because it wasn’t written just exactly right, then why did she shut down Congress and go on a personal book tour across the country to hawk her own book? Obviously the country’s needs for important legislation is second to her personal gain.
My monthly Social Security and your payroll check are being spent on her sumptuous and lavish style of living, jetting all around the country, and it’s all about her. How big a carbon footprint is she making?
