To the editor:
Claire McCaskill recently described Missouri as a red state with blue dots in St. Louis, Kansas City and Columbia. It’s pretty apparent she prefers to share the spotlight with the left wing of the Democratic party and would rather tax the U.S. oil companies than address the $140/barrel oil that inevitably makes Islamic terrorists stronger.
I wish her well as she uses Missouri as a stepping stone for national prominence within the DNC. However, I wish she’d made more of an effort to be a conservative Blue Dog Democrat reflective of Missouri than a liberal Blue Dot Democrat from Missouri.
