Adelyn Elizabeth Karst, daughter of Jon and Michele Karst of Blue Springs, was born Oct. 23, 2008, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 20 inches in length.
The maternal grandparents are Karen and Alan Moore of Salisbury, Mo., and the paternal grandparents are Georgene and Ron Karst of Blue Springs.
Adelyn has one sister, Kara Gene Karst.
