The Spirit of Independence Concert Band will present a Christmas Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at William Chrisman High School, U.S. 24 and Noland Road, Independence.
Fresh from its recent performance at the Independence Mayor’s Christmas Concert, the 60-member community band, conducted by area musician and educator Danny Lane, will perform an hour-long program of seasonal music. Featured will be medleys of traditional Christmas carols, as well as popular holiday favorites, such as “Sleigh Ride.” An audience sing-along will also be included.
Admission is free.
