The 3rd annual Downey Side Adoption Agency Art Auction and Fundraiser will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Studio 2131, 2131 Washington, Crossroads Art District, Kansas City.
The evening includes live and silent auctions, cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres. Alison Larkin, comedienne, actress, adoptee and author of “The English American,” will be the special guest, and performance artist/painter Michael Potts, will create a portrait of an American icon during the event for the live auction.
Downey Side’s mission is to provide every child with a forever family and a stable, loving home.
