Beginning Friday, the Vivalore Gallery in Englewood will host the “Heart to Heart” art exhibit in honor of American Heart Health Month.

The exhibit includes the works of artists Laura Kratz, Mark Weber and Kimbell McCurry. All three artists are cardiac patients, and their  paintings will be on display and for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Saint Luke’s Cardiovascular Clinical Research.

As a special feature, 28 framed, 6-by-6-inch works were painted for this exhibit. They will be for sale through Vivalore Gallery and on Facebook.

The exhibit runs Friday through March 8, but the opening reception will be held Feb. 15 and 16 in conjunction with the Third Friday Art Walk in the Englewood Arts District in Independence. The reception is from 6 to 9 p.m. both nights.
