Well, school is back in session and even though it seems a bit too early to start all that, school supplies make me think of fall.

Wow. I can hardly believe that the new school year is just a week or two away. I am so sad that my boys’ summer is almost over. I love the change of pace for them. While summertime is great time for our family, it does leave less time for oneself.

One of the most important things in our salon is comfort. We work really hard to create an environment in our salon that is truly very pleasing and comfortable. This is only one of the many components that need to be brought together in order to create a successful client/stylist relationship.

Last weeks column began an very important series about sunscreen. In that column, I simply listed some very important bullet points of information that regard the use of sunscreen.

Every year around this time I feel the need to write a column or two about the  importance of sunscreen, or the dangers of sun exposure.

Wow, all of a sudden it’s hot in our town! So much for spring. I guess we will never be bored with out weather around here, hey?

I don’t know about you, but for me May is a very busy month.

This is the time of year when it seems to me that everyone wants lighter hair. I think most of the salon guests we saw in the past few weeks have left the salon with at least a few highlights added to their look, or more.

It’s that time of year when everyone has spring cleaning or some sort of projects in mind. Sometimes I feel like the list goes on and on. Clean off the patio, clean out the flower beds, don’t forget the windows inside and out.
