It’s that time of year when everyone has spring cleaning or some sort of projects in mind. Sometimes I feel like the list goes on and on. Clean off the patio, clean out the flower beds, don’t forget the windows inside and out.
Then there are the other little projects just waiting for warmer weather. A bit of redecorating there, redoing a closet or cleaning out the garage or basement.
Just a bit of warmer weather is all we need to spring us into action. Well, today I wanted to suggest another type of spring project that just might be a bit more fun. It involves getting yourself ready for warmer weather. A check list of beauty for spring. Here it goes:
Pretty Pedi
Set aside those dusty blinds and instead, dust off all of your sandals. Keep in mind you mustn’t unless you have already booked your pedicure. Opi has two fun fashion color collections. One is the Alice in Wonderland collection with colors aptly named after the all things Alice, like Absolutely Alice and Mad as a Hatter. As well as the latest collection, Hong Kong. Some of my favorites in this collection are called Red My Fortune, Jade is the new Black, and, Dim Sum Plum!
Marvi Mani
Don’t deliberate about those dishes, just think of it as a presoak for your manicure. Think about letting a pro get you started this spring. They have all the right tools to get rid of those dry overgrown cuticles and even scrub away the winter so your hands can look soft and new. Plus, who can resist a paraffin dip and pretty pink or plum-colored polish?
Fab Facial
Forget the woodwork, you can never get in all the creases anyway. Instead go for an aromatherapy facial. It will help shed away the winter, and you can even ask for a wintergreen essential oil if it’s the scent of pine your after. Get it - Pine Sol?!
Wonderful Wax
Windows? Whatever. I say go for some waxing services at your favorite salon. Okay, so here is the deal. Waxing is not just for your brows. Think about your legs, underarms or bikini area. You can avoid razor burn, bumps, ingrown hairs and best of all it is much smoother and lasts longer than shaving. , and don’t forget your toes. Yes, I said it. Some people have few hairs on the top of their feet and even on the toes. Remove it. That’s all.
I think this little list can go a long way this spring to spruce you up! Give it a try and …
Have a Beautiful Day!
