I don’t know about you, but for me May is a very busy month.
It is a perfect month for great gentle weather to enjoy as we are now fully awakened from our long winter hibernation.
If April has left us a bit damp and cold, May will certainly warm us up again. As the flowers in our gardens begin to spring up and bloom, so do a plethora of celebrations.
It is the time of year, not only for graduations, but all of the end of the school year stuff.
It seem as well, that the invitations for birthdays, baby and wedding showers and anniversaries are flowing in.
So, how does a gal keep up a good look while balancing all of these lovely parties, the daily home, work, homework and little league schedule? Well, I think that is probably a really great question. Here is my favorite top ten list of things that just might help- and shave a few minutes of your regular regime.
10 Keep a bottle of OPI’s Nail Envy on your nightstand. Apply a coat every night, after you have tucked yourself in. This clear nail strengthener will work wonders and should dry before you really fall asleep. You may not have time for a spa manicure, but your nails will look pretty until you can get in the salon.
9 Fill a spray bottle with water and a few drops of olive oil, and a few more drops of lavender essential oil. Keep this in the shower and mist your self before you get out of the shower. You will smell great, and the tiny bit of oil will help hold the moisture of your whole body in one woop of your bath towel!
8 Skip the lipstick, and go with a tinted gloss. You might have to apply more often, but I am totally addicted to Sorme’s Lip Thick. It feels super great on your lips, has a bit of clove oil in it for a fresh breath, and comes in loads of pretty shades.
7Skip foundation and use a bronzing powder or even better, a tinted sunscreen. This will cut out the worry of overdone sun exposure and look great.
6Give a spray tan a try. You can go get one or try one of the bazillion sprays or crèmes you can use at home. This also comes in handy when you need to even out your little league, or soccer field t-shirt tan with that swim suit exposed skin.
