Animals Best Friends has four new rescues that are looking for good homes. These sweet puppies are a little more than three months old. Their former owner could not keep them, so ABF agreed to take them and find them homes.

The puppies are Cocker Spaniel Brussel Griffon mixes. They will likely be smaller dogs that will weight around 10 to 20 pounds when fully grown. There are three boys and one girl: Oscar, Sheldon, Gilbert and Kylie. These beautiful pups will make great family dogs with a little training and a lot of love.

We don’t know much about them, but they seem to have good dispositions. Brussel Griffons tend to be independent, active and intelligent. Cocker Spaniels are loyal, strong willed and affectionate. The combination of these two breeds should make wonderful dogs.

If you are looking for a special puppy to join your family and think one of these sweet kids might be a good fit, go to our website at www.animalsbestfriends.org and complete an application. ABF does home visits and two week trials and will always take the animal back if the adoption doesn’t work out.

The following animals are available for adoption at the Independence Animal Shelter. Visit the shelter at 875 Vista Drive or call 325–7207 for more information. If you have an animal control problem, call 325-7205.
