Hi, I’m Sport! I’m a year-old boxer/lab mix and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m also here to tell you about the Animals Best Friends Fall Garage Sale this weekend!
ABF volunteers will be accepting items Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Animals Best Friends facility located at 2302 S. Crysler, Independence.
Please do not donate clothes or shoes. Donations are tax deductible, so you can also obtain a tax receipt when you drop your items off.
Now back to me! I love to play with other dogs and kids; I’m even kennel trained! I can be shy when I first meet people, but once I see that someone is OK, I am pretty friendly. I love to play in water and really love my toys! I’m a sweet boy and like the other ABF kids, I would love a home of my own!
The fall garage sale is Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Independence National Guard Armory located at 2323 S. Crysler, Independence. Please come and shop for great deals and to help support all the ABF kids like me.
If you are interested in adding a member to your family and think I might be a good fit, please go to our website and complete an application. ABF does home visits and two-week trials to be sure that the family and animal are a good fit.
