Financial Peace University
The First Baptist Church of Buckner is offering a preview meeting for the upcoming Financial Peace University led by Dave Ramsey.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. Sunday and lasts about an hour. There is no cost. The class itself begins Jan. 13. For further information, contact the church at 816-650-5632 or visit www.fbcbuckner.org. The church is at 131 S. Hudson.
The program teaches families and individuals how to handle their money better and places a focus on small-group accountability.

Cornerstone Community of Christ also is hosting Financial Peace University. The classes will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 1316 S. Osage St., Independence.
