The Christmas Eve service at the Stone Church Community of Christ begins at 7 p.m. and features the Ancora Chorale and the Center Place Singers. It includes music and a telling of the Christmas story. The church is at 1012 W. Lexington Ave., Independence.

A candlelight communion service will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve at the Independence First United Methodist Church, 400 W. Maple Ave. The Rev. Mitchell Jarvis is the lead pastor at the church.
Trinity Presbyterian
