Blood drive Sunday
at Timothy Lutheran

The 7th annual Adam’s Army Blood Drive will be held Sunday at Timothy Lutheran Ministries, 425 N.W. R.D. Mize Road, Blue Springs.
The blood drive is held in honor of Adam Reed, the oldest of the five children of Mary and Jeff Reed, who was diagnosed with leukemia just before his 13th birthday in 2003. Through two bone marrow transplants and two years battling leukemia, Adam’s family learned about the ongoing need for blood and blood products. During his two-year unsuccessful fight with leukemia, Adam was supported by many friends and relatives, and especially his Timothy family, who became known as Adam’s Army.
The Community Blood Center is the primary supplier of blood for local hospitals and has been serving Missouri and Kansas hospitals for almost 50 years.
To donate, visit www.esavealifenow.org, click on schedule and appointment and type in TIMOTHYLUT for the sponsor code and select your preferred time. For more information about Timothy’s blood drive, call Nancy Nowiszewski at 816-228-5300.
