VBS at Coventry is this coming week
Vacation Bible School will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday at Coventry Estates Baptist Church, 17133 E 39th St.
This is a free for all children ages 3 years old through 6th grade. The VBS Family Program will be at 10:45 a.m. June 17, and everyone is welcome.

Adventures on Promise at Eastgate
“Adventures on Promise Island” is the theme of VBS at Eastgate Christian Church, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 25 through 29 at the church, 4010 S. River Blvd., Independence.
Preschool to sixth grade will enjoy music, crafts, fun, games and stories. After the June 29 program, there’ll be hot dogs and fixings for all. As an offering, They’ll be collecting non-perishable food items for the Independence Community Services League. There will also be prizes and gifts.
You may pre-register you children between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 12 through 15 by coming by or calling church at 816-252-6828. There’s a prize drawing for everyone registered by June 17.

Pointe of Hope planning VBS
Pointe of Hope will be holding a Sky-Themed VBS from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 20 through 22 at their new location, 1215 N. Missouri 7, Blue Springs.
Join them June 16 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and then Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. for a VBS themed kick-off party. There will be a wide variety of events for families and children ranging from a mini hot air balloon and a real hover craft that kids can sit on to food and kite flying. Then, join in June 23 at 10 a.m. for celebration Sunday!
