Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Blue Springs has planned several events in July.
This Sunday is “Women’s Sunday,” with the women of the church directing the service. A women’s ensemble will sing, “Lift Thine Eyes” from,  Mendelssohn’s “Elijah”.
On July 19, the Evangelism and Membership Ministry Unit will again sponsor a summer social with root beer (and peach) floats, on the north patio. Meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. and cool off with ice cream and root beer or peach soda. There will be a wiffle ball game for the more energetic and fellowship for all. In case of rain, the event will be moved into kitchen.
The church is at 3108 W. U.S. 40. For more details, contact the church at 229-3367.
