The bride, the daughter of Teresa Phillips of Baker, Fla., wore a long, beautiful fitted dress.
Avis Waddell assisted the bride as matron of honor, with Monte Mitchell serving as best man. Sarah Black and Laura Dustin were candlelighters, with Hayley Dustin as flower girl.
The reception was held at the Fountains of Greenbriar.
The bride, a 2007 home school graduate, is a radiology technician associate at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
The bridegroom, a 2007 graduate of Truman High School, graduated from the Police Academy in May 2008. He is employed at the Village of Jackson Creek Hospitality.
