This exhibit on the Bill of Rights is on display through February at the North Independence branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library, 317 W. U.S. 24. "We jumped at the chance because it’s a nice, condensed display that communicates well," said Sara Peterson-Davis, community programming specialist. This comes by way of a grant from the Missouri Humanities Council, and that grants supports related Bill of Rights programming still to be developed. The display will be at the Platte City branch in March and Smithville in April. Mid-Continent gets to keep the display, so after that it could be made available to other branches.
