A police chase following on a reported armed robbery Monday at Sam's Club in Independence led to three suspects being arrested in Kansas City, Kansas.

The robbery and shoplifting call came at 12:57 p.m., as three black male suspects stole more than $5,000 worth of merchandise. An officer soon noticed the suspect vehicle, a black Chevrolet Tahoe, getting onto Interstate 70, and the subsequent chase went through Kansas City, Missouri, and into Kansas City, Kansas.

Three suspects jumped out of the Tahoe after it nearly crashed and came to a stop in KCK, and two were soon arrested. The third was arrested after going in another vehicle to a nearby duplex. Police reportedly recovered stolen merchandise, as well.
