The Lee’s Summit Health Education Advisory Board is offering free, Hands-Only CPR training on Feb. 10, at the Gamber Community Center, 4 S.E. Independence Ave., Lee’s Summit. Participants can choose from three, 45-minute sessions beginning at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.
Volunteers experienced in teaching CPR will conduct the training, which includes a brief video and hands on chest compression practice with the use of mannequins.
Since 2015, this class has been offered 4 times and has successfully trained more than 800 individuals thanks to many volunteers. There are no age restrictions for participants, and you'll receive a certificate of participation (this class does not qualify as a CPR Certification.)
Register at LSparks.net or call 969-1500. Participants will also receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last.
