Exploring Our New Website: For adults, 10:30 a.m. March 3. The new MCPL website is more than just our online catalog. Come learn about the new features and personalized experience available at mymcpl.org.
Beyond Knits and Purls: For adults, 7 p.m. March 8 and 15. Now that you know the knit stitch and how to purl, now what? Learn to make a project! In this two-part class, you’ll learn to decipher a pattern, translate abbreviations, and increase and decrease stitches along with other technical tidbits. A supply list is available at the library.
Call of the Wild: For ages 4 and older, 10:30 a.m. March 10. How do birds sing? Why do coyotes howl? Learn how animals communicate using sound and how to make some of those sounds yourself.
Creating Magical Moments – Things to Consider When Planning a Walt Disney World Vacation: 2 p.m. March 11. Learn what resources are available, as well as tips and tricks to make your planning a bit easier.
Teen Yoga: 6:30 p.m. March 13. Stretch, twist, and breathe your way to a strong body and mind as you learn the basic yoga poses. No experience necessary, just a willingness to laugh and try something new. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel or mat.
Using Your iPad for the First Time: For adults, 2 p.m. March 19. Learn some of the basic tips and tricks for using an iPad tablet.
Read to a Dog: For ages 3 and older, 7 p.m. March 22. Sit down and read to some very good listeners—Pet Partners registered therapy dogs. These dogs will be available for 10-minute sessions to help children improve their reading skills and build self-confidence. Space is limited.
Teen Anime: 6:30 p.m. March 27. Join fellow fanatics for fun!
