• Rendezvous: For all ages, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 7. Participants of the Rendezvous spend the weekend in period dress, living the life that those of the past would. Some of these individuals spend the weekend target shooting their replica black powder rifles in friendly completion, finding out who is the better shot of that day. Participants will share history lessons with the public about how life really was in those yonder years. The public will be able to participate in archery and BB gun shooting. There will be root beer stands, blacksmiths, traders and everything available for the public to see and experience for themselves. The candy cannon will be set off every hour on the hour for the youth to join in on.

• Shotgun – Patterning: For ages 12 and older, 5-8 p.m. April 11.Patterning your shotgun is a very important part of hunting that is overlooked by many hunters. We will discuss the principles of how to use different ammunition and chokes to achieve the most effective pattern for your shotgun.

• Intro to Skeet: For ages 12 and older, 9-11:30 a.m. April 14. This program is designed for those who have had some experience with shotguns. We’ll cover safety, appropriate firearms and ammunition, rules of the game, etiquette on the field and field layout. Firearms and ammunition will be provided, or you may bring your own.

• Basic Pistol: For ages 18 and older, 8-11:30 a.m. April 21. This program includes handgun safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, maintenance and safe storage. Equipment and ammunition will be provided; you may bring your own firearm and ammunition to the live-fire session.

• Shotgun – 5-Stand: For ages 12 and older, 9-11:30 a.m. April 28. This program is designed for those who have had some experience with shotguns. We’ll cover safety, appropriate guns and ammunition, rules of the game, etiquette on the field and field layout. Firearms and ammunition will be provided, or you may bring your own.
