An additional reward has been added for anyone with information regarding the March 14 homicide of Christopher A. Harris Jr.

Following the homicide, Lester “Lucky” Brown, allegedly a rival drug dealer, was charged in federal court with using a GPS tracking device to follow Harris. However, more people were allegedly involved.

Now, Harris’s mother is offering a reward of $13,000, in addition to the existing $15,000 CrimeStoppers award, for information leading to an arrest or filing of charges pertaining to additional subjects.

Harris was shot outside a duplex on East 28th Place in Independence in front of his 9-year-old daughter as he returned her to her mother’s house. Following the incident, detectives searched for a red car that fled the scene.
