Who was your most inspirational teacher, and why?

My most inspirational teacher has been my speech and debate coach, Shelia Holt. She has guided me through so many obstacles and shaped me into the person and performer I am today. I will always appreciate the impact she’s had on not only my education but also my character.

What college are you attending, and why did you pick that school?

I will be continuing my higher education at the University of Missouri in Columbia. I chose this college because I fell in love with the campus and programs offered. I plan to join many activities and challenge myself to live up to my full potential.

What are your plans after college?

After graduating from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in business and a minor in environmental studies, I plan to either continue my education by obtaining a law degree with the intention of becoming an environmental lawyer, or I will assist in the management of non-profit agencies.

Who was your most inspirational teacher, and why?

My most inspiration teacher is Jared Hook because he convinced me to join the robotics team, which allowed me to hone my skills I had learned in class and allowed me to learn new skills. It opened me up to a plethora of new opportunities, inspiring people, and friends.

What college are you attending, and why did you pick that school?

Missouri Science and Technology because of its engineering program, in-state tuition and proximity to home.

What are your plans after college?

I would like to work in an aerospace-related career, either working with SpaceX or other experimental aerospace programs.

Who was your most inspirational teacher, and why?

Jason Grubb was the most inspiring teacher I’ve had because of his passion for teaching that comes from his love of America. He calls on his students to be good citizens, not just good students. I am thankful for everything he has taught me about government and about life.

What college are you attending, and why did you pick that school?

I will be attending Truman State University because it has a great reputation and is more affordable than most schools in Missouri.

What are your plans after college?

I want to have a career in biology, possibly bioengineering.
