Firearm Optics: For ages 10 and older, 9-11:30 a.m. Sept. 15. In this seminar, we'll discuss how to select the right optic, options for mounting it and how to mount it. Then we'll discuss how to bore sight and zero your new scope.
Introduction to Trapping: For all ages, 6-9 p.m. Sept. 21. Proper use of traps and trapping techniques is an important tool for wildlife management and nuisance wildlife control. Learn about modern trapping equipment, regulations and some basic trapping techniques.
Shotgun – Trap: For ages 12 and older, 9-11:30 a.m. Sept. 22. This program is designed for those who have had some experience with shotguns. We’ll cover safety, appropriate guns and ammunition, rules of the game, etiquette on the field and field layout. Firearms and ammunition will be provided, or you can bring your own.
National Hunting & Fishing Day: For all ages, noon-6 p.m. Sept. 22. Come sharpen your skills on the trap or skeet fields, archery fields or on the rifle or pistol ranges. The Promatic Huntsman will even be out for shotgun shooters to try something a little different! Stop by for this free day of shooting. Walk-ins welcome.
