Several fire district races were decided Tuesday. Here is a look at each local race.
Inter-City Fire District
Incumbent Gerald W. Cook garnered 31 votes, or 50.82 percent, of the 61 votes cast on Tuesday, and won a seat on the board of directors, according to unofficial election results.
Jack Wise received 22 votes, or 36.07 percent, of the votes, while Joe Pace snagged 7 votes, or 11.48 percent, of those who cast ballots.
James M. Chandler got one vote, or 1.64 percent, of the 61 votes cast.
Lake Lotawana Fire District
Incumbent Margaret A. Smith won re-election in Tuesday’s election for one seat on the board of directors, garnering 157 votes, or 62.55 percent, of the 251 votes cast.
Bambi L. Sanchez snagged 92 votes, or 36.65 percent, of the votes.

Sni Valley Fire District
Incumbent Roger Lake won re-election in Tuesday’s election for one seat on the board of directors, garnering 535 votes, or 37.18 percent, of the 1,439 votes cast.
Sam A. Russell got 338 votes, or 23.49 percent, of the votes; Robert P. Shores got 295 votes, or 20.50 percent, of the votes, and Jerry H. Hoy got 267 votes, or 18.55 percent.
