A northwest Missouri prosecutor is reviewing video for possible charges in a weekend disturbance at a county jail.
No injuries were reported during the incident at the Livingston County Jail in Chillicothe. But Sheriff Steve Cox said Monday that nine of the 41 inmates who were housed at the jail have been moved to other facilities.
KQTV reports (http://bit.ly/IJ2U4N ) a jailer placed a cell block on lockdown Saturday because some inmates were being disruptive and refusing to comply with rules.
The sheriff says inmates in that block responded by yelling, plugging drains to cause flooding, threatening staff and throwing wet toilet paper at security cameras.
The Livingston County Jail was built in 1977 and has beds for 48 inmates.
