A Shell station at 35th Street and Sterling Avenue was robbed Thursday evening.
Independence police said two black males entered the store about 6:45 p.m., with a handgun, robbed it and quickly fled.
They had not been caught as of late Thursday evening, and the amount of money or other items taken was unknown.
