Faith Vance grew a humongous cabbage and was randomly chosen by Missouri’s Agriculture Commissioner as the state’s winner. Faith will receive a $1,000 saving bond toward education from Bonnie Plants. Students from schools in Grain Valley, Independence, Lee's Summit and Oak Grove also took part in the contest.
