Wreaths & Wits competition is Nov. 21

Do you like fun, food and friendly competition? Then plan to attend Rainbow Center’s third annual Wreaths & Wits event to benefit children and adults with special needs.
The competition  is Saturday, Nov.  21, at the Ararat Shrine Temple, 5100 Ararat Drive, Kansas City.
Guests will enjoy music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction of wreaths and gift baskets when the doors open at 5:30 p.m. The wits trivia competition begins at 6:30, with emcee Bryan Busby of KMBC-TV.
Each table of eight will compete as a trivia team. Each person on the first place team will get “bragging rights” and a holiday bag stuffed with goodies. Individual tickets are $30.
Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorders provides specialized day-school programs for children from 17 school districts, and day habilitation for adults from Eastern Jackson County. Rainbow Center is a non-profit, nationally accredited, private agency for person with disabilities.
