February brings lots of birding fun to Powell Gardens, and we invite each of you to become a "citizen scientist" by working with local experts to identify and count birds at the Gardens this month.
On Sunday, Feb. 5, staff from the Missouri River Bird Observatory will be at the Gardens to band birds we can all help track the rest of the winter.
NOTE: Cafe Thyme is closed for the winter and will reopen this spring under new management. Details are coming soon!
Powell Gardens is located in Kingsville, Mo., just off U.S. 50 east of Lone Jack.
