BSPD investigates debit card theft

The Blue Springs Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a man accused of stealing a debit card.

Surveillance video taken on Aug. 24 at 4:28 a.m. at McDonalds at Missouri 7 and Mock Ave. show the man purchasing items.

The day before, the owner of the debit card reported that her wallet was stolen or she lost it, according to police.

Later in the day she discovered that several purchases were made with her card.

The following purchases were made:

  • QuikTrip at Missouri 7 and Keystone Drive at 1:37 a.m.
  • McDonalds at Missouri 7 and Mock Avenue at 4:28 a.m.
  • Casey’ s Store located in Grain Valley at approximately 10:43 a.m.
