Bingo night tonight features Mavericks, benefits Hope House

You can get up close and personal with your favorite Missouri Maverick tonight while spending the night playing bingo and supporting Hope House.

  • WHO:  Missouri Mavericks will be calling bingo numbers, posing for pictures, selling extra bingo cards and good luck charms.
  • WHAT: Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs or nachos at stadium prices.
  • WHEN: Starts at 6 and goes til 9.
  • WHERE: The Hilton Garden Inn, 19677 E. Jackson Drive in Independence just 1 mile off I-70.
  • WHY: All money raised support the daily operations of Hope House.
  • ADMISSION: $15 per person, kids 12 and under $10. Buy your paperless “tickets” on line at www.hopehouse.net or at the door.


Hope House would like to thank sponsors, Rotary of Independence, Speaks Family Legacy Chapel, Fraternal Order of Police, M2S Tech, Anthony Totta Law Office, Law Offices of Mary Weir, The Law Office of Phil LeVota Law, Rains & Spiegel LLC, the Hilton Garden Inn, Nadler Catering, the Wiechers Family and Paradise Park.

Hope House is a shelter for victims of domestic abuse and their children, with operations in Independence and Lee's Summit. It provides a safety net of  prevention, educaton and support. The 24-hour hotline for crisis intervention is 816-461-HOPE (4673) or 816-HOTLINE (468-5463).
