Independence police are looking for two Kansas City men believed to have been responsible for a July 3 burglary and home invasion.

Police consider Alonzo E. Williams, 25, of Kansas City, and Timmye J. Lewis, 23, of Kansas City, persons of interest. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of West Scott Place, where two men entered a home and stole several items.

Police said Williams and Lewis may also be connected to other burglaries and home invasions in the area.

If anyone has any information regarding Williams or Lewis, or any crimes they may have committed, please call the TIPS Hotline at 474-8477 or the Independence Police Investigations Unit at 816-325-733.
