A Grain Valley woman used her own set of lucky numbers and dates to play the Show Me Cash game, and those numbers have come through for her to the tune of $81,000.
Rebecca Snow bought a Show Me Cash ticket for the Nov. 7 game at the Casey’s General Store at 2424 S.W. Missouri 7 in Blue Springs. Her winning numbers were 8, 13, 18, 28 and 33.
She told Lottery officials that she saw a notice at the grocery store that someone had won the jackpot, so she had the clerk check her tickets. She claimed her winning ticket at the Kansas City Lottery office Nov. 9.
She said she will use some of the money to pay off a recently purchased car and some to support her husband, who recently underwent surgery.
The Casey’s store will receive $500 for selling the winning ticket. Show Me Cash jackpots start at $50,000.
