The Independence Pioneers Chapter, NSDAR, participated in the annual Veterans Day Tribute, sponsored by the City of Independence, the evening of Nov. 8, at the Truman Memorial Building in Independence.
Regent, Diana Ritter, gave a special welcome and introduction speech and Chapter members, Linda Sehrt, Linda Dimon, Susan Bowman, Mary Richardson and Diane Harper served refreshments and presented veterans with a token of appreciation after the tribute.
