Mera-Vic, the Grain Valley company chosen as Truman Heartland Foundation’s Corporate Citizen of the Year, will be honored during the foundation’s annual Toast of Our Towns gala Sept. 20 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Kansas City.
The 13th annual awards ceremony is a black-tie benefit for the foundation and celebrates charitable giving in the heartland and area philanthropists. This year’s Heartland Humanitarian is Larry Moore, anchor of the KMBC 9 television news. Moore and Mera-Vic will be honored at this year’s gala.
