Missourians have the opportunity to learn about and participate in natural resource conservation.
The Osage Trails Chapter of the Missouri Master Naturalist Program is offering a training class from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 11 through Nov. 10 at the Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center, 1401 N.W. Park Road Blue Springs.
The Missouri Master Naturalist program is designed for those who want to know more about, and become more involved in, the management and protection of natural resources. To become a Certified Master Naturalist, participants take 40 hours of basic training, eight hours of advance training, and contribute 40 hours of natural resource-related volunteer service in the Kansas City area.
