Traffic lanes closed for re-pavement at Interstate 470/Missouri 291 at Interstate 70 are open again.
The lanes were closed last month by the Missouri Department of Transportation to correct a paving problem associated with a bridge deck resurfacing project performed last summer .
The northbound lanes at M-291 over I-70 and the eastbound I-70 exit ramp to northbound M-291 reopened Wednesday, and southbound I-470 lanes over I-70 and the westbound I-70 exit ramp to southbound I-470 reopened Thursday.
Traffic had been restricted to one lane in each direction to accommodate the work. The ramp from eastbound I-70 to northbound Missouri 291 and the ramp from westbound I-70 to southbound I-470 were both be closed during resurfacing.
