Independence firefighter's wife reported missing in Kansas City

Kansas City Police are searching for Renee M. Pernice, 35, Kansas City. Pernice was reported missing by her father Saturday. He last spoke to her last Tuesday and believes foul play is involved. Pernice is described as a white female, 5 foot, 9 inches, 130 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Independence city officials confirmed Monday night that Pernice is the wife of an Independence firefighter.
