Eastern Jackson County, MO —
An Independence man was injured in a rollover wreck on Interstate 70 just east of Grain Valley.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports responding to the accident at 3:22 a.m. Sunday but adds “it is unknown where the initial crash occureed, when it happened, or how it occurred. A possible origin of the crash is between the south outer belt road and I-70 just east of Grain Valley.”
Craig T. Honeywell, 26, had minor injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center. The 2012 Fiat he was driving was totalled.
