Ordinances
• Approved a final plan for Creekside Landing, a multi-family development at the intersection of Sni-A-Bar Parkway and Sni-A-Bar Boulevard. The project will sit on nearly seven acres and will include nearly 200 parking spaces to accommodate 17 units.
• Tabled an ordinance amending the city’s nuisance ordinance regarding weed control. The board voted to place the issue on the agenda of an upcoming workshop for further discussion before a vote is taken.
• Approved an ordinance amending the city’s fee schedule for public works and community development projects to go into effect Jan. 1, 2009. The fee schedule was increased to make the city comparable to the fees of other area cities. The fee changes refer to special use permits, rezoning, variances and construction plan reviews and items such as sewer and water lines, traffic signs and street signs.
• Approved an ordinance adopting procedures for dealing with disorderly conduct. The ordinance defines disorderly conduct.
• Approved an ordinance authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of $6.9 million in general obligation bonds as authorized by voters during a recent election. Money from the bonds will be used to begin the first phase of downtown improvements, especially those changes planned to the Interstate 70 interchange at the north outer road.
• Approved changes to the residential and commercial water and sewer rates and the billing schedules. The ordinance calls for changes in the way average water usage is determined and the procedures followed in the case of water leaks.

Resolutions
• Approved a computer and equipment replacement plan, including selling used computers when new ones are purchased.
• Approved an application for The Downtown Revitalization Economic Assistance For Missouri Program, a state-funded grant application.
• Approved a replacement program for city vehicles and equipment.
